Dancing in the Streets

Friday night was Cambridge’s annual Dance Party. They shut down Massachusetts Avenue and thousands gathered to dance the night away. The music was good, the skies stayed clear, and I got to boogie it down on Cambridge City Hall…not your everyday opportunity. My dance moves were limited due to lack of skill in that department, but luckily, the crowd was too busy doing its own thing to care. Looks like I’ll be going back next year, after all, when else is it completely acceptable to dance in the street?

    • When I was in Cambridge, we had tea dances on Sunday afternoons at the Ritz with lots of chaperones! We managed though!
